Compared with all other equipment their distortion is much more.

• And why I need to pay so much for the more sophisticated loudspeakers? They look almost the same as the cheaper one.

• But what will I hear more if my electronics are quite silent and they transfer the signal to the loudspeakers without distortion?

So, how to choose your loudspeakers:
• Try to choose equipment which is of the same class of quality. It is better the loudspeakers to be of higher quality than the other equipment
• What will be the main use of the loudspeakers? If you want to listen mainly music from CD, MP3 player or other stereo source, there is no sense to buy 5.1 system, because quite often the sound will be bad.
• Do not expect from small bookshelf loudspeaker to have 20 Hz low frequencies. There are laws of physics against which we cannot go. If you see in the specification tables very low frequencies, usually it is a lie. Pay attention then is it pointed + how much dB is taken the measurement.
• Good 2.1 system may sound better than the same priced stereo 3 way system and to save space.
• Believe your ears only and your eyes. The high quality of the sound can be easy determined. The same is with the high quality of the craftsmanship. You will notice it. And usually better construction and outlook means better materials and longer life.
